The Pro All Stars Series
and Racing America
Reach Multi-Year Agreement
CONCORD, N.C. (January 9, 2024) - The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) and Racing America have reached a multi-year agreement to continue their broadcasting partnership for the sanctioning body. With the agreement, Racing America remains the broadcasting home of the Pro All Stars Series for the coming years.

Among those events are a packed slate of Super Late Model races at Oxford Plains Speedway. This year's calendar includes the 300-lap Celebration of America on July 1, the PASS 400 weekend on October 19 and the biggest event of the year, the Oxford 250 on August 24.

"The streaming partnership between PASS and Racing America has been and will continue to be strong for years to come," said PASS President, Tom Mayberry. "The Oxford 250 continues as the richest single-day event in motorsports and folks all over the country will be able to watch on Racing America. Add the Celebration Of America in July and PASS fans have a lot to be excited about."

"We are thrilled to continue our partnership with the Pro All Stars Series in 2024 and beyond," said Colin Smith, President of Racing America. "PASS has become a favorite among our fanbase and we are excited to get their season underway."

The Oxford 250 is one of the biggest Super Late Model events of the year and celebrated its 50th annual running in 2023. Racing America has been the broadcasting home of the Oxford 250 since 2015, presenting what has always been considered one of the biggest short track events in the Northeastern United States to a national and international audience.

Update on "Bottle Cap Crate"
2024 SLM Engine Options
Dec, 27 - Naples, ME - Officials at the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) provided an update today on the new "Bottle Cap Crate" engine option that will be available for all PASS competitors for the 2024 season. The "Bottle Cap Crate" option was rolled out to competitors in early November and sales have been brisk.

PASS President Tom Mayberry commented about the new engine package option, "We are really. really happy with the initial round of orders for these motors. We have already had 15 or 16 teams order an engine, and we are getting calls and emails almost every day for more."

Each engine purchased through the PASS sealed engine program comes straight from GM to the PASS approved engine builder, LCM Racing Engines, for a dyno break-in and test. LCM sets the timing, performs a 4-hour break-in procedure, and then seals each motor with TWO PASS-specific seals registered with the sanctioning body. Teams simply provide their own fuel pump and distributor and then can pick up a race ready engine to drop into their cars and go.

"We felt like it was important to provide a good break-in procedure to verify that each engine is performing at its optimum level when it leaves the LCM Engine Shop," Said Mayberry. "LCM has agreed to do this at a discounted rate so we can keep the total cost to teams under $10k."

Teams running the "Bottle Cap Crate"  option will be afforded a 25 lb. weight break at every track on the PASS schedule, with additional breaks at Thompson and New Hampshire Motor Speedway TBD.
Mayberry went on to say there will be another order placed with GM within the next month or so to accommodate the ever growing interest for both the PASS tour and weekly competition at Oxford Plains Speedway.

The 602 "Bottle Cap"  crate motor option for PASS MODS was also rolled out less than a month ago and interest has been high there as well. "We had one driver order one right away, and we have had several more calls from drivers in need of a fresh motor who want to order very soon," said Mayberry. "PASS MODS race a little less than the SLM's so an engine may last a team a little longer. But as they wear out, it's a great way for them to get a sealed motor and get a weight break. It's the same engine they are already running, just with a seal so we know it has not been tampered with."

To place your order, please contact the Offices of PASS at (207) 693-6497 or passracing@roadrunner.com  or contact Tom and Mike Mayberry to get your name on this list, For technical questions please call Louie Mechalides at 978-265-2630

Six Division Line-Up Announced for
5th Annual Northeast Classic at NHMS
Naples, ME & Barre, VT  --  The Pro All Stars Series (PASS)  and The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) announced today the six division line-up that will compete in the 5th annual Northeast Classic at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday, April 13.

The trifecta headliners will once again include the American-Canadian Tour, the PASS Super Late Models and an all-star Tour-type Modified Open. These three headliners will also be joined by a trio of New England's favorite short track heroes in the Sunoco 604 Modifieds, R&R Race Parts NH Street Stock Open Series and the Evolve Bank Pro Truck Challenge for a six-division Northeast Classic showcase.

The American-Canadian Tour will kick off the fourteen-race 2025 season at New Hampshire Motor Speedway with their 50-lap portion of the Northeast Classic while the PASS Super Late Models will be in round two of their twelve-race slate after lifting the lid on their point-counting season at Thompson Speedway's Icebreaker Weekend. Many of the Tour-type Open Modifieds will also be coming off their season starting Icebreaker showdowns, ready to take on the Magic Mile with a $7,000-to-win, $700-to-start purse!

After their inaugural visit last April, the Sunoco 604 Modifieds that call Thompson Speedway home will return to New England's biggest stage for the second consecutive year while the R&R Race Parts NH Open Street Stocks join the three headliners as the only other division to compete in all five editions of the Northeast Classic. The Evolve Bank Pro Truck Challenge will also return in 2025 after a two-year hiatus.

"We're all looking forward to getting back there," said PASS President Tom Mayberry. "New Hampshire Motor Speedway always puts on a great show for these divisions and has quickly become a favorite event on all our calendars."

"The Northeast Classic continues to grow," said ACT managing partner Cris Michaud. "Car counts, camping registration and fans in the stands have continued to grow, it makes it all the more exciting and we're all looking forward to getting another great start on the season at New Hampshire Motor Speedway."

Along with today's announcement, entry forms for the ACT, Open Modified, 604 Modified and R&R Street Stocks have been released as have Camping Registration for both Lot 5 and Infield spots and garage stall registration for the American-Canadian Tour. Both ACT and PASS competitors have until March 1st to register for garage stalls with their respective organizations. After March 1st, stalls will open on a first come, first serve basis to support divisions. PASS-SLM-GARAGE-STALL-FORM-NHMS.pdf

The event will also see a competition yellow for teams to change 2 tires. This competition yellow will be the first natural yellow falling between laps 100 and 125. Otherwise a scheduled caution will fly at the completion of lap 125.

The Memorial Day Clash 200 will be officiated by the Pro All Stars Series.

TUES. & WEDS., JULY 1st & 2nd
The 2nd Annual Celebration of America 300 at Oxford Plains Speedway will once again feature the PASS Super Late Models for 300 laps in what is sure to be a race filled with tire strategy and some very exciting racing with the top cars having to make their way back through the field after pit stops.

This year's COA event will also highlight the Kennebec Equipment Rental PASS MODS as the headline event on Tuesday night. Several Oxford Championship Divisions will also join the card on Tuesday including the Richard Spaulding Roofing Street Stocks, the Dow Excavation Limiteds, and the 207 Brand Rebels.

The Street Stocks and the Limiteds will both have a 50 lap points race paying $1,000 to win. The Rebels will have a 25 lap $500-to-win points race. These events will use the weekly handicap procedures and use the same tire rule as all other weekly races.

Wednesday night's event will of course feature the 2nd Annual COA 300 along with the NESS Supermodifieds. Also on the card for Wednesday night will be the Mad Bombers as they will compete in The Oxford Auto Salvage 50 Lap $1,000-to-win Main Event that will be a weekly points race for the division.

PASS Super Late Models have a revamped schedule for the 2025 Season with a Points Series consisting of 12 races with Crown Jewel events including the 52nd Annual Oxford 250 and the Celebration of America 300 no longer included as point races.

"The decisions to remove these events as points races from the 2025 schedule is mainly due to wanting teams that support the series throughout the season to be able to focus their strategies on winning these events without having to be concerned with having a catastrophic points event if those strategies don't work out,” saId series President Tom Mayberry.

Along with these changes to the schedule, the point fund will also see a restructuring with the points money being distributed through three different funds. The traditional PASS driver’s point fund will pay $5,000 to win and will continue to require one driver to compete in all points races with no allowance for driver substitutions.

For the first time in Pro All Stars Series history, owner’s points will also be tracked. This will allow owners the option to run the series with multiple drivers and will also have owner specific awards at the year-end banquet. This point fund will pay $2,500 to win so if the same driver owner combination wins both points Championships that team would receive $7,500 in points money at the banquet.

The third allocation of points money will be paid as a bonus at the PASS 400 Weekend at Oxford Plains Speedway. Teams that have competed in all PASS North Super Late Model races throughout the 2025 season will be awarded this points money based off their finishing order in the 3rd stage of the event. The bonus money paid at the PASS 400 weekend will pay $2,500 to the highest finishing car in the 3rd 100 Lap segment that has competed in all points races for the season.

PASS SLM Driver's Points Fund: 1st $5,000; 2nd $3,000; 3rd $2,500; 4th $1,500; 5th $1,200; 6th $1,100; 7th $1,000 (Thru last Car to compete in all scheduled point races).

PASS SLM Owner’s Points Fund: 1st $2,500; 2nd $1,500; 3rd $1,000; 4th $900; 5th 800; 6th $700; 7th $600; 8th $500 (Thru the last Owner to field a car in all schedulepoints races).

PASS 400 Weekend SLM Bonus: Teams that  have competed in all scheduled points races in the 2025 season to be paid in order of how the cars finish in the 3rd and final segment only: 1st $2,500; 2nd $1,500; 3rd $1,000; 4th $900; 5th 800; 6th $700; 7th $600;
8th $500.

2024 OXFORD 250 LAP BOARD HERE

We would like to thank everyone who made this 250 Weekend a success.  It takes a lot of people to make this thing work.  This year we had the challenge of Mother Nature during the 250.  We want to thank all of the fans who waited patiently during the rain delay.

And a huge thanks to our volunteer track drying heroes.  Without your help the rain delay would have been really long. With your help we were able to get the race completed in a reasonable amount of time.

Thank you so much!

Jeff Taylor Holds Off Bubba Pollard
for Elusive Oxford 250 Triumph
by Tim Packmsn - Racing America News
When the checkered flag finally waved over the 51st Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Oxford 250, it was nine-time Oxford Plains Speedway track champion Jeff Taylor standing tall next to his No. 88 in Victory Lane.

After battling 41 other competitors and enduring a three-hour rain delay, Taylor won the Oxford Plains Speedway’s prestigious race for the very first time in 28 attempts.

It was a reflective and slightly shocked driver talking about his win afterwards.

“I honestly don’t know how we won,” the Farmington, Maine native shared. “I can’t believe this, we don’t run full-time like a lot of these other drivers. I can tell you one thing, that rain delay really helped this car out a lot.    READ FULL STORY
